Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ben Purkiss in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bill Cryer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 6 played minutes Wimbledon got a freekick which was hit by CJ Dunn. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Purkiss in the 7th minute of play forced Wimbledon's goalkeeper Bill Cryer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Frankie Myers dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bill Cryer, 1-0. Frankie Myers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Wimbledon's goalkeeper Bill Cryer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frankie Myers. Kris Coote's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bill Cryer firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ben Purkiss in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bill Cryer saved Wimbledon from getting behind. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wimbledon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frankie Myers was slow to take the kick. During this time Yo-Yo Aria FC's players had a chance to rest. With splendid footwork Ben Purkiss arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 29th minute. A collision led to Yo-Yo Aria FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jeremy Emmerson hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kris Coote got free with Bill Cryer in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Yo-Yo Aria FC's Ben Purkiss dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 41st minute of the match, Frankie Myers got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bill Cryer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 42nd minute, Abraham Preston left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yo-Yo Aria FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Wimbledon's Bill Cryer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Wimbledon from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Preston in the 48th minute of play forced Wimbledon's goalkeeper Bill Cryer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ben Purkiss stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Wimbledon defense, Ben Purkiss kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bill Cryer. The Wimbledon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bill Cryer should have stopped the shot. Reg Bolton took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bill Cryer. Bill Cryer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Bill Cryer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Langsford in the 60th minute of the match. Bill Cryer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Purkiss in the 84th minute of play. When Jamie Paine came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Wimbledon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jamie Paine couldn't finish the play. After having played for 92 minutes, Ben Purkiss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yo-Yo Aria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ben Purkiss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ben Purkiss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bill Cryer was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. After 96 played minutes Wimbledon got a freekick which was hit by Donald Mowlem. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Yo-Yo Aria FC fully deserved thier win.
