The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Al Higginson in the 17th minute of play forced Turtle Woods's goalkeeper Joel Addison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Turtle Woods booed when Forest Hill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruce Jones didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Lester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matty Knight in the 22nd minute of the match. When Donald Wilson fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Forest Hill's protests and gave Donald Wilson a yellow card for diving instead. Bruce Jones ran back to his position shaking his head. Roger Lester didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Turtle Woods's Ciprian Soare shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruce Jones was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Matty Knight could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Roger Lester however easily saved by the left post. In the 92ndth minute of the game Ciprian Soare who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Forest Hill's Roger Lester was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute, Bruce Jones made a precise shot to the right of Joel Addison. Turtle Woods's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3.
