Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ben Purkiss took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cliff West kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Nicholas Langsford kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Gaz Newman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Purkiss in the 13th minute of play. Gaz Newman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Preston in the 15th minute. Woodley United's Gaz Newman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Purkiss in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Yo-Yo Aria FC's Jeremy Emmerson got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Casey Renwick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 26 minutes of play, Yo-Yo Aria FC's Kris Coote made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaz Newman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abraham Preston received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gaz Newman came out and tried to block the shot, but Abraham Preston slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Purkiss in the 33rd minute of play forced Woodley United's goalkeeper Gaz Newman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaz Newman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Purkiss in the 35th minute of play. In the 39thth minute of the game Ben Purkiss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Woodley United's Gaz Newman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Woodley United's Gaz Newman got control of the ball when Frankie Myers tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Glenn Impey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The audience was convinced that Frankie Myers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaz Newman was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After having played for 63 minutes, Frankie Myers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yo-Yo Aria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frankie Myers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Ben Purkiss put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gaz Newman. Gaz Newman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Purkiss, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute Ben Purkiss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaz Newman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frankie Myers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Gaz Newman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaz Newman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kris Coote, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 84 minutes, Ben Purkiss made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Woodley United's Gaz Newman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gaz Newman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frankie Myers, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When the referee ended the match the Yo-Yo Aria FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
