If Harry Faith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daryl Baker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Harry Faith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royal Oak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Faith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Steven Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattias Mayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Faith, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Harry Faith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Mayo having to interfere. Harry Faith struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Mattias Mayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Royal Oak. Gareth Jenkinson, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Royal Oak's Rowan Townsend got a free kick in the 67th minute. The Royal Oak players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
