Brett Crossman charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brett Crossman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Tuste got free with Nigel Poynton in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nigel Poynton came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's Chanai Snow. But to his dismay, Chanai Snow quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Graeme Granville kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Tuste in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nigel Poynton saved FK BLAZER from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Fabián Ruiz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nigel Poynton. The goal made the score 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Graeme Granville during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute, Graeme Granville hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nigel Poynton came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's Chanai Snow. But to his dismay, Chanai Snow quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Nigel Poynton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Tuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nigel Poynton made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Cristian Tuste sent off a good shot on target. Brett Crossman was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 39 played minutes AMAZON DU DAHOMEY got a freekick which was hit by Brett Crossman. 44 minutes into the match, AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's Chanai Snow sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nigel Poynton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Chanai Snow made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabián Ruiz in the 51st minute of play forced FK BLAZER's goalkeeper Nigel Poynton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 played minutes AMAZON DU DAHOMEY got a freekick which was hit by Armando Carcedo. Garth Kennedy didn't quite understand what happened when in the 60 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After a rather tough play, FK BLAZER's Graeme Granville got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Chanai Snow might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nigel Poynton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chanai Snow ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute Chanai Snow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nigel Poynton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pete Kitching had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mustafa Arif İmruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nigel Poynton having to interfere. FK BLAZER's Nigel Poynton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabián Ruiz in the 79th minute of play. Nigel Poynton came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's Fabián Ruiz. But to his dismay, Fabián Ruiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Nigel Poynton came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's Mustafa Arif İmruz. But to his dismay, Mustafa Arif İmruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Nigel Poynton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chanai Snow, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After some careless play in the FK BLAZER defense, Fabián Ruiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nigel Poynton. The FK BLAZER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nigel Poynton should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AMAZON DU DAHOMEY had played much better football throughout.
