The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matías Berger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Perkins in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matías Berger saved BRIGADE 84 from getting behind. The supporters of BRIGADE 84 booed when Felix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kirk Welch didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Henry King got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Felix getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Abraham Parry hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bradley Baker to make the kick off. Bradley Baker scored 0-3 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matías Berger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matías Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cliff Carr, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Gordon Long sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in BRIGADE 84's zone, Cliff Carr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matías Berger came out of the goal and Cliff Carr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
