Defense's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Graeme Tinker 3 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Kris Upson in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Doug Sutton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 8 minutes into the match, Defense's goalkeeper Doug Sutton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kris Upson. Kris Upson had several of the Defense's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 9 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Doug Sutton as he didn't even see the shot coming. With his leg Doug Sutton managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Dakar Olympique's Kris Upson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 16th minute Dakar Olympique were awarded a corner. Geoff Vassell went to the cornerflag to take it. After 17 minutes, Eddie Bryant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defense and the Dakar Olympique players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Defense got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Bryant. Defense's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Kris Upson scored to the left of an out of position Doug Sutton, making the score, 3-0. 22 minutes into the match, Kris Upson notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Defense's Doug Sutton. Doug Sutton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vágner de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damion Barkley in the 25th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Kris Upson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Doug Sutton. The goal made the score 5-0. Geoff Vassell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Doug Sutton made a huge save. Doug Sutton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lee Hislop went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kris Upson in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doug Sutton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Defense's Doug Sutton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Upson in the 42nd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.
The wind increased when Kris Upson made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Kris Upson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defense's Doug Sutton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sly Groves during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sly Groves kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Kris Upson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, Defense's goal looked a bit too open when Geoff Vassell came free, but Doug Sutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kris Upson came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Dakar Olympique fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kris Upson couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Lee Hislop made a precise shot to the right of Doug Sutton. Defense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Lee Hislop scored 10-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doug Sutton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Defense's Simon Roebuck got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 72 played minutes, Dakar Olympique's Geoff Vassell shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Doug Sutton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dakar Olympique reached it. Doug Sutton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kris Upson went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. Doug Sutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Graeme Tinker in the 78th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Dakar Olympique's Kris Upson got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 87thth minute of the game Kris Upson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defense's Doug Sutton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute of the match Dakar Olympique got a corner. Defense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Geoff Vassell ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Graeme Tinker to score against Doug Sutton in Defense's goal. 14-0 after 88 minutes. Defense's Doug Sutton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geoff Vassell in the 91st minute of play. After 92 minutes Defense's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Geoff Vassell who took care of the corner kick. Doug Sutton didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Dakar Olympique's Kris Upson shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 15-0 in the ordered_time% minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Dakar Olympique had played much better football throughout.
