Fawards's Dominic Allwright was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 4th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Lloyd Dingle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominic Allwright went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Fawards booed when Keepers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ty Bond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lloyd Dingle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daryl Hepburn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dominik Unsworth struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Lloyd Dingle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fawards. Dominic Allwright took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lloyd Dingle. Lloyd Dingle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominic Allwright in the 37th minute of play forced Keepers's goalkeeper Lloyd Dingle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Sammy Westerby recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lloyd Dingle. Sammy Westerby showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Lloyd Dingle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominic Allwright went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. If Dominic Allwright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 minutes, Kris Garrett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Keepers and the Fawards players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Kris Garrett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lloyd Dingle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominic Allwright in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Keepers's zone, Dominic Allwright stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lloyd Dingle came out of the goal and Dominic Allwright tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lloyd Dingle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Westerby, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Lloyd Dingle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Westerby in the 77th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Sammy Westerby left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fawards fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. A collision led to Keepers getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Peter Furlong hit a great ball. Lloyd Dingle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Westerby, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Keepers's Lloyd Dingle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zack Chegwyn in the 86th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Keepers's zone, Dominic Allwright stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lloyd Dingle came out of the goal and Dominic Allwright tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dominik Unsworth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lloyd Dingle having to interfere. Jay Dry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lloyd Dingle having to interfere. Fawards walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
