Funheitu Tærnar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gísli Sólbergsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. In the 79th minute, Vélaugur Oddmarsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aríus Leifsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnbjörn Dagþórsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vélaugur Oddmarsson went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score.
