Falur Lárusson might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Engilbjartur Fannarsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Þóroddur Almarsson in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franklín Laufarsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute, Falur Lárusson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Epal Bæ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Oddvar Vilmarsson hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Stefnir Darrason notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Epal Bæ's Franklín Laufarsson. Franklín Laufarsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Epal Bæ were furious when Guðleifur Dagfinnsson was red carded, 91 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 90th minute, one of Epal Bæ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Epal Bæ.
