Örn Kjaransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Þráinn Bergsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sóló Mosfellsbæ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Þráinn Bergsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Fram Bíldudal's goal looked a bit too open when Arngrímur Falgeirsson came free, but Sigursteinn Viðarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sóló Mosfellsbæ's Friðbergur Agnarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Fram Bíldudal were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Arilíus Kolsson kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Örn Kjaransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Höskuldur Guðnason, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Örn Kjaransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Höskuldur Guðnason in the 57th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Dagur Stígsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Höskuldur Guðnason's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Örn Kjaransson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fram Bíldudal's Hergill Eðvarsson got a free kick in the 67th minute. Dagur Stígsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sigursteinn Viðarsson. Fram Bíldudal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sigursteinn Viðarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arngrímur Falgeirsson in the 71st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Friðbergur Agnarsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sigursteinn Viðarsson was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 81st match minute, Fram Bíldudal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Höskuldur Guðnason to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Arngrímur Falgeirsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Friðbergur Agnarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Sigursteinn Viðarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arngrímur Falgeirsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Fram Bíldudal's goal looked a bit too open when Arngrímur Falgeirsson came free, but Sigursteinn Viðarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Sóló Mosfellsbæ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fram Bíldudal's performance. The match ended with a win for Fram Bíldudal.
