The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arent Jóngeirsson during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Kombatantów getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Arent Jóngeirsson hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Arngrímur Falgeirsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, FC Kombatantów's goal looked a bit too open when Arngrímur Falgeirsson came free, but Fjörnir Kristjánsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Arngrímur Falgeirsson came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Sóló Mosfellsbæ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arngrímur Falgeirsson couldn't finish the play. When Arent Jóngeirsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. In the 93rd match minute, FC Kombatantów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arent Jóngeirsson to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Arngrímur Falgeirsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fjörnir Kristjánsson was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Sóló Mosfellsbæ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
