Hugleikur Patreksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigursveinn Júlíansson in the 18th minute of the match. Herluf Ingason fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesper Tómasson having to interfere. Sveinberg Oddvarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesper Tómasson having to interfere. Sigursveinn Júlíansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marel Gregorsson during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Umgjörð Hrísey booed when Krusinators was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marel Gregorsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Umgjörð Hrísey's Rögnvar Gretarsson shot a high long ball. Krusinators's goalkeeper was lucky when the ball hit the right post and out. When Guttormur Svanbergsson fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Krusinators's protests and gave Guttormur Svanbergsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Krusinators getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Guttormur Svanbergsson hit a great ball. Guðmon Eyjólfsson kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Jesper Tómasson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 37th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rögnvar Gretarsson. Hrappur Konráðsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Herluf Ingason got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sveinberg Oddvarsson to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Krusinators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guttormur Svanbergsson to maneuver through the defense. Krusinators's Jesper Tómasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herluf Ingason in the 53rd minute of play. In the 63rd minute Herluf Ingason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesper Tómasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Elínmundur Ingason was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Umgjörð Hrísey's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Krusinators the free kick. In the 69th match minute, Krusinators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hnikar Hauksson to maneuver through the defense. Umgjörð Hrísey's Herluf Ingason got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Krusinators's Marel Gregorsson got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Rögnvar Gretarsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jesper Tómasson skillfully saved the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Umgjörð Hrísey's Sveinberg Oddvarsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesper Tómasson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jesper Tómasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sveinberg Oddvarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Jesper Tómasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herluf Ingason in the 90th minute of the match. Sveinberg Oddvarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
