Eiríkur Agnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigtryggur Adolfsson in the 14th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Þórhaddur Alfreðsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Anтicα Cidαdєlα's goal looked a bit too open when Hagbert Pétursson came free, but Eiríkur Agnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otti Tryggvason who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Jörundur Ingvarsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Minkarnir Vogum's Jörundur Ingvarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Minkarnir Vogum from getting a goal against them. Per Axelsson struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Jörundur Ingvarsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anтicα Cidαdєlα. Anтicα Cidαdєlα's Otti Tryggvason got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sigurgeir Þorgerisson kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Jörundur Ingvarsson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Per Axelsson. Otti Tryggvason blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jörundur Ingvarsson having to make a save. Per Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anтicα Cidαdєlα's Eiríkur Agnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hagbert Pétursson in the 45th minute of play.

The wind increased when Hagbert Pétursson made the kick off in the second half. Eiríkur Agnarsson made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Sigtryggur Adolfsson sent off a good shot on target. Minkarnir Vogum's Jörundur Ingvarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otti Tryggvason in the 62nd minute of play. When Þórhaddur Alfreðsson came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Anтicα Cidαdєlα fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Þórhaddur Alfreðsson couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Minkarnir Vogum's Sigtryggur Adolfsson got a free kick in the 69th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Þorfinnur Hansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Minkarnir Vogum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anтicα Cidαdєlα the free kick. After a rather tough play, Minkarnir Vogum's Þorfinnur Hansson got a free kick in the 76th minute. Jörundur Ingvarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Axelsson in the 77th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Per Axelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dagþór Hafbergsson lost his temper 89 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 89th minute, one of Minkarnir Vogum:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Minkarnir Vogum. Per Axelsson walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Jörundur Ingvarsson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Anтicα Cidαdєlα's Otti Tryggvason shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Minkarnir Vogum booed when Anтicα Cidαdєlα was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Þórhaddur Alfreðsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chants of Minkarnir Vogum echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Anтicα Cidαdєlα had held the ball for most of the match.
