Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gerald Mattíasson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Þröstur Bjarmarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Húnbogi Arndórsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerald Mattíasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Rafnar Kjartansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th match minute, Þráinn Selfossi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Áki Jóngeirsson to maneuver through the defense. Margeir Loftsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigurbaldur Júlíusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sigurbaldur Júlíusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 played minutes Þráinn Selfossi got a freekick which was hit by Hilbert Sveinsson. After 21 played minutes, Legacy Master's Hjálmþór Tryggvason shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafnar Kjartansson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Legacy Master reached it. After having played for 23 minutes, Húnbogi Arndórsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Legacy Master's supporters crossed their fingers, but Húnbogi Arndórsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Hildar Nikulásson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Húnbogi Arndórsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafnar Kjartansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerald Mattíasson in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafnar Kjartansson saved Þráinn Selfossi from getting behind. Húnbogi Arndórsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafnar Kjartansson having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sigurbaldur Júlíusson to strike the kick off in the second half. Legacy Master's Gerald Mattíasson got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Húnbogi Arndórsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafnar Kjartansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Húnbogi Arndórsson in the 59th minute of the match. When Áki Jóngeirsson fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Þráinn Selfossi's protests and gave Áki Jóngeirsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th match minute, Þráinn Selfossi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Áki Jóngeirsson to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Þráinn Selfossi's goal looked a bit too open when Tímóteus Dagsson came free, but Rafnar Kjartansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Legacy Master's Gerald Mattíasson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafnar Kjartansson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Húnbogi Arndórsson in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafnar Kjartansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafnar Kjartansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerald Mattíasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Legacy Master were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
