Ölvir Bjarmarsson was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Hólmgrímur Freysson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hólmgrímur Freysson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Þórður Kjaransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A collision led to Vox Hvammstanga getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ísidór Runólfsson hit a great ball. Bjarnólfur Eyvindarson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gissur Ívarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Þórður Kjaransson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Þórður Kjaransson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gissur Ívarsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Ölvir Bjarmarsson stood somewhat misplaced when Hólmgrímur Freysson came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 95 minute.
