Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bergmundur Hróason made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Þórshöll Hrísey's Einvarður Ásmundarson got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 4th minute, Jóvin Þengilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lýður Dagsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Gústav Baugsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Bergmundur Hróason managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grjónið Hellu's supporters rose to their feet, but Bergmundur Hróason was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gústav Baugsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hólm Bragason blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hersteinn Valgarðsson having to make a save. If Jóvin Þengilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hólm Bragason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gústav Baugsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bjarnólfur Eiðsson in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Bergmundur Hróason cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gústav Baugsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Þórshöll Hrísey's Elínmundur Sindrason got a free kick in the 29th minute. Lýður Dagsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gústav Baugsson having to interfere. Jóvin Þengilsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
The wind increased when Jóvin Þengilsson made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Grjónið Hellu's Lýður Dagsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gústav Baugsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hersteinn Valgarðsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hólm Bragason, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 65th minute, Jóvin Þengilsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Þórshöll Hrísey fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Lýður Dagsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gústav Baugsson made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Lýður Dagsson sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Þórshöll Hrísey getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Goðmundur Hingsson hit a great ball. After 79 played minutes Grjónið Hellu got a freekick which was hit by Bjarnólfur Eiðsson. Lýður Dagsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Gústav Baugsson made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Þórshöll Hrísey's Hallvarður Fjölmundsson got a free kick in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Bergmundur Hróason recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gústav Baugsson. Bergmundur Hróason showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Grjónið Hellu had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
