With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nói Gregorsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sigurgísli Snorrason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Nói Gregorsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nói Gregorsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sveinberg Dalmarsson's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After 20 minutes of play, Grandi Öræfi's Sveinberg Dalmarsson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nói Gregorsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Örn Hlynsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hallur Þorvaldsson in the 29th minute of the match. Sigurgísli Snorrason recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Grandi Öræfi's Sigurgísli Snorrason in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mazur Wydminy's goalie prevented a goal. 37 minutes into the game, Sakarías Kristbjörnsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mazur Wydminy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grandi Öræfi the free kick. Sakarías Kristbjörnsson hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Tómas Sverrisson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Örn Hlynsson having to interfere. Nói Gregorsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sveinberg Dalmarsson's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. If Tómas Sverrisson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Grandi Öræfi's goal looked a bit too open when Hallur Þorvaldsson came free, but Örn Hlynsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sveinberg Dalmarsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sveinberg Dalmarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sigurgísli Snorrason was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Grandi Öræfi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sveinberg Dalmarsson in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nói Gregorsson saved Mazur Wydminy from getting behind. When Grandi Öræfi's Sveinberg Dalmarsson in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mazur Wydminy's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Mazur Wydminy's Nói Gregorsson got control of the ball when Sigurgísli Snorrason tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sakarías Kristbjörnsson was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 76 played minutes Mazur Wydminy got a freekick which was hit by Sakarías Kristbjörnsson. Grandi Öræfi's Sveinberg Dalmarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sigurgísli Snorrason could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Nói Gregorsson made a huge save. Nói Gregorsson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Stormur Arnaldsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sveinberg Dalmarsson in the 88th minute of play forced Mazur Wydminy's goalkeeper Nói Gregorsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grandi Öræfi's Sigurgísli Snorrason got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sigurgísli Snorrason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tómas Sverrisson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
