With a left leg Eldar Guðmarsson saved EniNgaR from getting behind. The supporters of EniNgaR booed when Griffill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yrkill Svangeirsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Griffill getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Loki Dagþórsson hit a great ball. If Sigurlinni Þórðarson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jósavin Georgsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jóhann Sólbergsson having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in EniNgaR fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! Eldar Guðmarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svangeir Bergmansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jóhann Sólbergsson made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Jósavin Georgsson sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the game, Svangeir Bergmansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Eldar Guðmarsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Jósavin Georgsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. EniNgaR's supporters rose to their feet, but Jósavin Georgsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jóhann Sólbergsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Svangeir Bergmansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

After a defensive mix-up in EniNgaR's zone, Loki Dagþórsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eldar Guðmarsson came out of the goal and Loki Dagþórsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. EniNgaR's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Svangeir Bergmansson scored to the left of an out of position Eldar Guðmarsson, making the score, 0-3. Griffill's Svangeir Bergmansson got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Svangeir Bergmansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sær Darrason hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Reynar Stefánsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sigurlinni Þórðarson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sigbergur Torfason's late challenge caught a EniNgaR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sigbergur Torfason helped the player get up and apologised. Svangeir Bergmansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Eldar Guðmarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
