When Fagus Kópaskeri's Sólbjörn Styrmisson in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EniNgaR's goalie prevented a goal. Eldar Guðmarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sólbjörn Styrmisson in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sólbjörn Styrmisson in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eldar Guðmarsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fagus Kópaskeri's Elfar Bjarmason played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigurlinni Þórðarson in the 18th minute of play. Alvar Aronsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elfar Bjarmason. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvar Aronsson ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Fagus Kópaskeri getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Daríus Ísólfsson hit a great ball. Elfar Bjarmason made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigurlinni Þórðarson in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigurlinni Þórðarson in the 28th minute of play forced Fagus Kópaskeri's goalkeeper Elfar Bjarmason to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Gestur Randversson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elfar Bjarmason skillfully saved the ball. After 32 minutes, Jósavin Georgsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EniNgaR and the Fagus Kópaskeri players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sólbjörn Styrmisson got free with Eldar Guðmarsson in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sólbjörn Styrmisson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Eldar Guðmarsson made a huge save. Fagus Kópaskeri's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
