In a very dangerous position, a player in Anas Húsavík fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Rafverk Flatey. Tór Svangeirsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ástvin Ásmundarson. 2-2. Helgi Þorgerisson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bessi Sigbertsson was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Jósep Þráinson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jósep Þráinson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Anas Húsavík's zone, Gils Baldursson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ástvin Ásmundarson came out of the goal and Gils Baldursson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Anas Húsavík's Drengur Sigmundarson got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rafverk Flatey's goalkeeper Bessi Sigbertsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Helgi Þorgerisson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Helgi Þorgerisson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ástvin Ásmundarson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ástvin Ásmundarson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helgi Þorgerisson in the 90th minute of the match. Ástvin Ásmundarson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gils Baldursson in the 91st minute of play. After 92 minutes of play Anas Húsavík's Seifur Bjarnason was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 93rd minute, Seifur Bjarnason hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rafverk Flatey's Helgi Þorgerisson, in the 95th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Rafverk Flatey. Anas Húsavík were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Rafverk Flatey's much stronger midfield.
