The Þráinn Selfossi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lúther Geislason should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Gabriel Mendes sped through Þráinn Selfossi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lúther Geislason. Lúther Geislason didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fjólar Skaptason went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Gabriel Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Lúther Geislason tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hildimar Magnþórsson struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Lúther Geislason didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LUBAWIANKA. Friðbjörn Ísleifsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lúther Geislason. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Friðbjörn Ísleifsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Gabriel Mendes struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hildimar Magnþórsson got free with Lúther Geislason in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabriel Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Lúther Geislason made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Mendes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fjólar Skaptason struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Lúther Geislason didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LUBAWIANKA. Hlíðberg Borgþórsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lúther Geislason didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fjólar Skaptason went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Friðbjörn Ísleifsson struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Lúther Geislason didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LUBAWIANKA. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Gabriel Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot. LUBAWIANKA's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Mendes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lúther Geislason breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lúther Geislason took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fjólar Skaptason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 91st minute of the match Hildimar Magnþórsson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hildimar Magnþórsson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 92 played minutes LUBAWIANKA got a freekick which was hit by Hildimar Magnþórsson. Þórhalli Aðalsteinsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Urki having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. LUBAWIANKA fully deserved thier win.
