Spectators: 7366 (Terracing: 5864, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Svanlaugur Hilmirsson started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Sírus Úlfarsson notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ísnes Akranesi's Páll Sigurkarlsson. Páll Sigurkarlsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Auðgeir Pálsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Páll Sigurkarlsson having to interfere. Ísnes Akranesi's Skorri Daníelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uppfylling's Ómi Kjartansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svanlaugur Hilmirsson in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Sigurbjarni Loftsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Páll Sigurkarlsson. Sigurbjarni Loftsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 17 minutes into the match, Uppfylling's goal looked a bit too open when Skorri Daníelsson came free, but Ómi Kjartansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Ísnes Akranesi got a freekick which was hit by Auðólfur Valsson. In the 22nd match minute, Ísnes Akranesi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hjálmtýr Ægisson to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Sigurbjarni Loftsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uppfylling fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Valbrandur Jökulsson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Sigurbjarni Loftsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Páll Sigurkarlsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 37 minutes, Valbrandur Jökulsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uppfylling's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valbrandur Jökulsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute Fránn Erlendsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ómi Kjartansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sigurbjarni Loftsson was the one to do the kick off. Uppfylling's Ómi Kjartansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Uppfylling from getting a goal against them. Hagbert Bollason took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Páll Sigurkarlsson. Ísnes Akranesi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Uppfylling's Ómi Kjartansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svanlaugur Hilmirsson in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Uppfylling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valbrandur Jökulsson to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Hjálmtýr Ægisson from long distance, 65 minutes into the match, got Ómi Kjartansson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 68th minute Ísnes Akranesi were awarded a corner. Hjálmtýr Ægisson went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Svanlaugur Hilmirsson in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ómi Kjartansson saved Uppfylling from getting behind. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Svanlaugur Hilmirsson sped through Uppfylling's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ómi Kjartansson. After having played for 74 minutes, Sigurbjarni Loftsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uppfylling's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sigurbjarni Loftsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ísnes Akranesi! Sírus Úlfarsson walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 80th match minute, Uppfylling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demus Gunnlaugsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Sigurbjarni Loftsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uppfylling fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After 87 played minutes Ísnes Akranesi got a freekick which was hit by Hjálmtýr Ægisson. In the 90th minute, Jósúa Ásmundarson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gnúpur Haraldsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Uppfylling's Valbrandur Jökulsson got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Fránn Erlendsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Ómi Kjartansson however easily saved by the left post.
