Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kristvaldur Margrímsson got the match started through his kick off. Mars Geraldsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Máni Garði fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Máni Garði's Vopni Olgeirsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vopni Olgeirsson in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reynir Geirsson saved Kópavör Flúðum from getting behind. After 20 played minutes Kópavör Flúðum got a freekick which was hit by Dýrmundur Þórsson. Vopni Olgeirsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sigríkur Gustavsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ludvig Guðþórsson came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Máni Garði fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludvig Guðþórsson couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adólf Harðarsson in the 29th minute of play forced Máni Garði's goalkeeper Végeir Kjartansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Végeir Kjartansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristvaldur Margrímsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Sigríkur Gustavsson kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Reynir Geirsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Végeir Kjartansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adólf Harðarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Máni Garði's Sigríkur Gustavsson got a free kick in the 38th minute. Kristvaldur Margrímsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Máni Garði's Végeir Kjartansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristvaldur Margrímsson in the 58th minute of play. Máni Garði's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vopni Olgeirsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Végeir Kjartansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristvaldur Margrímsson in the 82nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vopni Olgeirsson in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynir Geirsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
