After taking down the ball on Vikingur Reykjavik's corner Hugi Rúnarsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kristmundur Þorkelsson quite easily take care of the ball.

Vikingur Reykjavik's Matthías Aronsson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernódus Oddbergsson in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristmundur Þorkelsson saved Flink Kópaskeri from getting behind. After 96 minutes of play, Vikingur Reykjavik's Hugi Rúnarsson made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristmundur Þorkelsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Vikingur Reykjavik left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Flink Kópaskeri.
