Valdór Orrason succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 7th playminute. Borgþór Hallbjörnsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdór Orrason in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Soffanías Emilsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Borgþór Hallbjörnsson. The goal made the score 2-0. With his leg Borgþór Hallbjörnsson managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Flink Kópaskeri's Arnljótur Jafetsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Soffanías Emilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borgþór Hallbjörnsson having to interfere. Valdór Orrason who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Borgþór Hallbjörnsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Tilvera Bæ defense, Valdór Orrason kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Borgþór Hallbjörnsson. The Tilvera Bæ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Borgþór Hallbjörnsson should have stopped the shot. Borgþór Hallbjörnsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnljótur Jafetsson in the 35th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Valdór Orrason got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Borgþór Hallbjörnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdór Orrason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnljótur Jafetsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Borgþór Hallbjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdór Orrason in the 77th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdór Orrason in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Borgþór Hallbjörnsson saved Tilvera Bæ from getting behind. Borgþór Hallbjörnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnljótur Jafetsson in the 83rd minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Tilvera Bæ's goal looked a bit too open when Arnljótur Jafetsson came free, but Borgþór Hallbjörnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Flink Kópaskeri's Valdór Orrason sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Borgþór Hallbjörnsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Flink Kópaskeri fully deserved thier win.
