The ball went over the crossbar instead. Flóki Daníelsson made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Þorlaugur Kjartansson sent off a good shot on target. After 21 minutes, Þorlaugur Kjartansson made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Höldur's Flóki Daníelsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Þorlaugur Kjartansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Dvalinn Steinsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emanúel Valbergsson's late challenge caught a Akkur Flúðum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanúel Valbergsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th match minute, Höldur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanúel Valbergsson to maneuver through the defense. Akkur Flúðum's Dvalinn Steinsson got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Höldur's Flóki Daníelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Þorlaugur Kjartansson in the 45th minute of play.
Emanúel Valbergsson hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 57th play minutes Þorlaugur Kjartansson shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Flóki Daníelsson and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Dvalinn Steinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akkur Flúðum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dvalinn Steinsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flóki Daníelsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dvalinn Steinsson's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Dvalinn Steinsson sped through Höldur's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Flóki Daníelsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freymundur Finnbogason in the 71st minute of play forced Höldur's goalkeeper Flóki Daníelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flóki Daníelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freymundur Finnbogason in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Höldur's Dalvin Lárusson got a free kick in the 79th minute. Þorlaugur Kjartansson took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flóki Daníelsson. Flóki Daníelsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. When Akkur Flúðum's Dvalinn Steinsson in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The tension between the Höldur and the Akkur Flúðum players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Höldur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bergþór Borgþórsson to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the game, Þorlaugur Kjartansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Flóki Daníelsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a good free kick, Þorlaugur Kjartansson got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Höldur. Flóki Daníelsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dvalinn Steinsson went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score.
