Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 0-2 became the score in the 15th minute when Geir Mánason elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geir Mánason in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hallfreður Brynjarsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hallfreður Brynjarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Þorgarður Arnljótsson in the 23rd minute of play. Grimmu Tröllin's Hallfreður Brynjarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Þorgarður Arnljótsson in the 27th minute of play. Hallfreður Brynjarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geir Mánason in the 30th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Þorgarður Arnljótsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hallfreður Brynjarsson was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Elverk Vogum's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Þorgarður Arnljótsson in the 33rd minute. With splendid footwork Þorgarður Arnljótsson arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-11 by the left pole in the game's 88th minute. Elverk Vogum's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
