In the 3rd minute Shelton Labrecque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Friður Daðason saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bylgjan2's Shelton Labrecque suffered a sore thigh after 5 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Styr Þengilsson's late challenge caught a Bylgjan2's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Styr Þengilsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Bylgjan2. Jóann Sindrason stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Friður Daðason. 0-1. When Henrý Reimarsson came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Bylgjan2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrý Reimarsson couldn't finish the play. Jóann Sindrason struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Friður Daðason didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bylgjan2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrý Reimarsson in the 25th minute of play forced Engey Reykholti's goalkeeper Friður Daðason to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Bylgjan2's Hílton Koehler got a free kick in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bylgjan2's zone, Þorleikur Níelsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tístran Bjargmundarson came out of the goal and Þorleikur Níelsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bylgjan2's Henrý Reimarsson in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Engey Reykholti's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 43 minutes, Jóann Sindrason managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bylgjan2's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jóann Sindrason was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bylgjan2's Henrý Reimarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Þorleikur Níelsson was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Henrý Reimarsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bylgjan2 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Henrý Reimarsson struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrý Reimarsson couldn't finish the play.
