Filippus Geislason showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lindar Gylfason in the 20th minute of the match. Filippus Geislason showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Hjartarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Ingiþór Boðason got his second yellow card in the match during the 26th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 27th minute, Ingiþór Boðason hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valur Eyjólfsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edvard Jökulsson in the 35th minute. Þýsku Tærnar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lindar Gylfason was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Ferdinand Hjartarsson came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Fjelsted Vík fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinand Hjartarsson couldn't finish the play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 76th minute, but Filippus Geislason got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Þýsku Tærnar hanging dry this time. 85 minutes into the game, Daði Jökulsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Filippus Geislason. Daði Jökulsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Nicolas Anelka kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Þýsku Tærnar manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Fjelsted Vík to win.
