The coaching staff of Antik Flatey protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dónald Andrason had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Antik Flatey:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bylgjan2:s goal. In the 13th minute, Kjaran Magnþórsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the game, Kjaran Magnþórsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Antik Flatey's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bylgjan2 the free kick. Snjólfur Bjarmarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shelton Labrecque, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Snjólfur Bjarmarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shelton Labrecque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Shelton Labrecque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Snjólfur Bjarmarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shelton Labrecque, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Shelton Labrecque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Bylgjan2 booed when Antik Flatey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjaran Magnþórsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Shelton Labrecque ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Snjólfur Bjarmarsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of Bylgjan2 booed when Antik Flatey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaki Andrason didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jóann Sindrason took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Snjólfur Bjarmarsson. Antik Flatey's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Shelton Labrecque scored 0-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Snjólfur Bjarmarsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Shelton Labrecque might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Snjólfur Bjarmarsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shelton Labrecque ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute Shelton Labrecque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Snjólfur Bjarmarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Shelton Labrecque cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Snjólfur Bjarmarsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Bylgjan2's Shelton Labrecque in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Antik Flatey's goalie prevented a goal.

Shelton Labrecque might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Snjólfur Bjarmarsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shelton Labrecque ran back to his position shaking his head. After 53 played minutes Antik Flatey got a freekick which was hit by Kjaran Magnþórsson. In the 57th minute, Shelton Labrecque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jóann Sindrason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Snjólfur Bjarmarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Snjólfur Bjarmarsson managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Bylgjan2's Shelton Labrecque fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Snjólfur Bjarmarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jóann Sindrason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Shelton Labrecque notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Antik Flatey's Snjólfur Bjarmarsson. Snjólfur Bjarmarsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Shelton Labrecque took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Snjólfur Bjarmarsson to make any attempt to save it. Antik Flatey's Snjólfur Bjarmarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Antik Flatey from getting a goal against them. If Shelton Labrecque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Snjólfur Bjarmarsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shelton Labrecque in the 82nd minute. Shelton Labrecque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shelton Labrecque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Snjólfur Bjarmarsson having to interfere. Snjólfur Bjarmarsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shelton Labrecque in the 90th minute. Bylgjan2's Shelton Labrecque was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 92nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shelton Labrecque got free with Snjólfur Bjarmarsson in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bylgjan2 played a much better game than Antik Flatey and deserved their victory. The Antik Flatey players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
