Þorgísl Magnþórsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ferdinand Hjartarsson in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vilji Guðþórsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ferdinand Hjartarsson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Vilji Guðþórsson 37 minutes into the match. Fjelsted Vík's Daði Jökulsson got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lindar Gylfason to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daði Jökulsson in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vilji Guðþórsson saved Saga Öræfi from getting behind. Lindar Gylfason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Vilji Guðþórsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Fjelsted Vík fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.
