Shelton Labrecque scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valur Eyjólfsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Shelton Labrecque kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valur Eyjólfsson. That made the score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 15th minute, Shelton Labrecque made a precise shot to the right of Valur Eyjólfsson. Fjelsted Vík's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When Shelton Labrecque came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Bylgjan2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shelton Labrecque couldn't finish the play. Valur Eyjólfsson was a little too slow when Shelton Labrecque got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 4-0. The wind increased when Shelton Labrecque made the kick off in the second half. Fjelsted Vík's Valur Eyjólfsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shelton Labrecque in the 52nd minute of play. Ingi Guðmundsson hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute of the match Jóann Sindrason sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valur Eyjólfsson skillfully saved the ball. In the 60th minute of the game, Níels Þorsteinsson landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 60 minutes, Sváfnir Hásteinsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bylgjan2 and the Fjelsted Vík players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fjelsted Vík's Skúta Másson was substituted for Níels Þorsteinsson. After a rather tough play, Bylgjan2's Sváfnir Hásteinsson got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Tístran Bjargmundarson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Hjartarsson in the 64th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Shelton Labrecque's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valur Eyjólfsson was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 75 minutes into the match, Shelton Labrecque had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valur Eyjólfsson. Fjelsted Vík's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shelton Labrecque was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. 79 minutes into the game, Shelton Labrecque cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Valur Eyjólfsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Bylgjan2 fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Bylgjan2's Shelton Labrecque looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shelton Labrecque in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valur Eyjólfsson saved Fjelsted Vík from getting behind. Shelton Labrecque succeeded in the game's 89th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 10-0. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Shelton Labrecque put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Valur Eyjólfsson. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fjelsted Vík players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bylgjan2.
