The Valgarður Öræfi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ölnir Gunnlaugsson should have stopped the shot. After 21 played minutes Valgarður Öræfi got a freekick which was hit by Vilmundur Ívarsson. Ölnir Gunnlaugsson was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Guðfinnur Oddsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Guðfinnur Oddsson really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Jóndór Snæfinnsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ölnir Gunnlaugsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jóndór Snæfinnsson ran back to his position shaking his head. 郝朋钢 was extremely unlucky when he, in the 30th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Guðfinnur Oddsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jóndór Snæfinnsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ölnir Gunnlaugsson having to make a save. Jóndór Snæfinnsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Ölnir Gunnlaugsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Guðfinnur Oddsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orlof Blönduósi's supporters rose to their feet, but Guðfinnur Oddsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ölnir Gunnlaugsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

郝朋钢 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ölnir Gunnlaugsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 minutes of play, Orlof Blönduósi's Jóndór Snæfinnsson made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ölnir Gunnlaugsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Orlof Blönduósi booed when Valgarður Öræfi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilmundur Ívarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guðfinnur Oddsson struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Ölnir Gunnlaugsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orlof Blönduósi. Hólmgrímur Margrímsson kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Unnar Oddvarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orlof Blönduósi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Unnar Oddvarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute Álfur Davíðsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ölnir Gunnlaugsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Guðfinnur Oddsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Álfur Davíðsson struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ölnir Gunnlaugsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orlof Blönduósi. If Dan Guðmundsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ölnir Gunnlaugsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jóndór Snæfinnsson in the 82nd minute of play. Ölnir Gunnlaugsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álfur Davíðsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Guðfinnur Oddsson succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 9-0. Jóndór Snæfinnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Guðfinnur Oddsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Ölnir Gunnlaugsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Orlof Blönduósi players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
