Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shelton Labrecque ran back to his position shaking his head. Vilji Guðþórsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shelton Labrecque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vilji Guðþórsson came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Bylgjan2's Shelton Labrecque. But to his dismay, Shelton Labrecque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jóann Sindrason took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vilji Guðþórsson. Vilji Guðþórsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 16 minutes, Shelton Labrecque made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Saga Öræfi's Vilji Guðþórsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute Jóann Sindrason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilji Guðþórsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erlingur Birkisson kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Shelton Labrecque left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bylgjan2 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. If Shelton Labrecque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vilji Guðþórsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shelton Labrecque's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Shelton Labrecque might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vilji Guðþórsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 36 minutes of play, Bylgjan2's Jóann Sindrason made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vilji Guðþórsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vilji Guðþórsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shelton Labrecque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shelton Labrecque in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vilji Guðþórsson saved Saga Öræfi from getting behind. The Bylgjan2 fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Bylgjan2's Shelton Labrecque looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shelton Labrecque was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Bylgjan2 were awarded a corner. Jóann Sindrason went to the cornerflag to take it. Sigurgísli Brynjólfsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilji Guðþórsson having to interfere. Shelton Labrecque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Shelton Labrecque who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Vilji Guðþórsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Shelton Labrecque received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vilji Guðþórsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Shelton Labrecque slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, Bylgjan2's Kiljan Valbergsson got a free kick in the 66th minute. The Bylgjan2 fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Bylgjan2's Shelton Labrecque looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 72nd minute, Shelton Labrecque reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vilji Guðþórsson. The goal made the score 0-10. After 76 minutes of play, Bylgjan2's Shelton Labrecque made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vilji Guðþórsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute, Shelton Labrecque reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vilji Guðþórsson. The goal made the score 0-12. Vilji Guðþórsson made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Shelton Labrecque sent off a good shot on target. During the 89th minute of the match Erlingur Birkisson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Erlingur Birkisson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Erlingur Birkisson kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Þorgísl Magnþórsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute, Shelton Labrecque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
