Seating: 2127, VIP seats: 184) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lindar Gylfason kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daði Jökulsson in the 3rd minute of play forced Antik Flatey's goalkeeper Snjólfur Bjarmarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinand Hjartarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Snjólfur Bjarmarsson having to interfere. In the 8th minute Úlfgeir Hallvarðsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valur Eyjólfsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Antik Flatey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valbergur Hafþórsson to maneuver through the defense. When Lindar Gylfason came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Fjelsted Vík fans jumped to their feet. Snjólfur Bjarmarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daði Jökulsson in the 25th minute of play. Valur Eyjólfsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valbergur Hafþórsson in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Úlfgeir Hallvarðsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valur Eyjólfsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Fjelsted Vík's Valur Eyjólfsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hallgrímur Ákason in the 31st minute of play. After 36 played minutes Fjelsted Vík's Lindar Gylfason stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Snjólfur Bjarmarsson stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Antik Flatey of the goal. Snjólfur Bjarmarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daði Jökulsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Antik Flatey's zone, Daði Jökulsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Snjólfur Bjarmarsson came out of the goal and Daði Jökulsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th match minute, Fjelsted Vík was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tindur Kristófersson to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Valbergur Hafþórsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valur Eyjólfsson. That made the score 0-4 in the 86 minute of play. Valur Eyjólfsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valbergur Hafþórsson in the 94th minute of play. Ferdinand Hjartarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Snjólfur Bjarmarsson having to interfere. The Fjelsted Vík manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Antik Flatey to win.
