When Hlér Konráðsson fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Emeryci's protests and gave Hlér Konráðsson a yellow card for diving instead. Hlér Konráðsson hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Generoso Benitez struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Ymir Leifsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stef Bíldudal. Vígsteinn Indriðason kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Ymir Leifsson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Hjálmur Ingmarsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hjálmur Ingmarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Níelsson in the 35th minute of the match. Stef Bíldudal were furious when Nereo Gaitan was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 47th minute Max Níelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjálmur Ingmarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Hlöðver Orrason notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Stef Bíldudal's Hjálmur Ingmarsson. Hjálmur Ingmarsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Emeryci's Kormákur Margrímsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hjálmur Ingmarsson. That made the score 1-5 after 56 minutes of play. In the 59th minute, Hlér Konráðsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hjálmur Ingmarsson. The goal made the score 1-6. In the 62nd minute, Kormákur Margrímsson made a precise shot to the right of Hjálmur Ingmarsson. Stef Bíldudal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. If Gert den Hertogh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hjálmur Ingmarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vígsteinn Indriðason in the 69th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Emeryci's zone, Gert den Hertogh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ymir Leifsson came out of the goal and Gert den Hertogh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Gert den Hertogh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hjálmur Ingmarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vígsteinn Indriðason in the 78th minute of the match. A collision led to Stef Bíldudal getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Kaleb Óðinsson hit a great ball. Stef Bíldudal's Hjálmur Ingmarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kormákur Margrímsson in the 80th minute of play. Hjálmur Ingmarsson came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Emeryci's Vígsteinn Indriðason. But to his dismay, Vígsteinn Indriðason quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. After a rather tough play, Emeryci's Kormákur Margrímsson got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 92 played minutes Stef Bíldudal got a freekick which was hit by Benóný Arnleifsson. Kormákur Margrímsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Hjálmur Ingmarsson made a huge save. In the 96th minute, Emeryci's Vígsteinn Indriðason ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hjálmur Ingmarsson. Hjálmur Ingmarsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-10. 99 minutes into the match, Hlöðver Orrason had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hjálmur Ingmarsson. Stef Bíldudal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hlöðver Orrason was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-11.
