Rafverk's Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Rafverk from getting a goal against them. Emeryci's Ymir Leifsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guðbjartur Bergmansson in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Vígsteinn Indriðason recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson. Vígsteinn Indriðason showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Níelsson in the 28th minute of the match. Emeryci were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Rafverk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vígsteinn Indriðason took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Vígsteinn Indriðason got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hlöðver Orrason fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson having to interfere. After 66 minutes, Jónmundur Granason mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rafverk and the Emeryci players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hlöðver Orrason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
