Dawid Pyrtek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amerigo Gervasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Mustafa Arif Devrim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Austmar Hjaltason in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Össur Ármannsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester United's supporters rose to their feet, but Össur Ármannsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Arif Devrim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dawid Pyrtek came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Æsir Ásgarðr's Natalio Favila. But to his dismay, Natalio Favila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dawid Pyrtek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natalio Favila's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Natalio Favila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dawid Pyrtek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natalio Favila in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dawid Pyrtek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mustafa Arif Devrim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristmundur Knútsson in the 24th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Æsir Ásgarðr's goalkeeper Mustafa Arif Devrim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Austmar Hjaltason. In the 34th minute Össur Ármannsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Arif Devrim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Austmar Hjaltason fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Arif Devrim having to interfere. The supporters of Æsir Ásgarðr booed when Manchester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geirfinnur Aronsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacek Biskupiak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dawid Pyrtek. Manchester United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Æsir Ásgarðr getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Przemyslaw Plachetka hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natalio Favila was the one to do the kick off. Dawid Pyrtek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Favila, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, Æsir Ásgarðr's Natalio Favila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dawid Pyrtek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Natalio Favila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dawid Pyrtek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Natalio Favila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dawid Pyrtek. Manchester United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natalio Favila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Æsir Ásgarðr's Adolf Andrésson was substituted for Elfráður Unnarsson. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natalio Favila in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dawid Pyrtek saved Manchester United from getting behind. Dawid Pyrtek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Favila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Natalio Favila took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Dawid Pyrtek to make any attempt to save it. Æsir Ásgarðr's Ramiro Baudelio was substituted for Jacek Biskupiak. The Manchester United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Æsir Ásgarðr's performance. The match ended with a win for Æsir Ásgarðr.
