Steinn Bjarmason came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Barcelona's Kristvin Logason. But to his dismay, Kristvin Logason quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Steinn Bjarmason took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aríel Fjölmundsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steinn Bjarmason made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Kristvin Logason sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kristvin Logason got free with Steinn Bjarmason in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Steinn Bjarmason made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tristan Davíðsson in the 13th minute. Steinn Bjarmason made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aríel Fjölmundsson in the 16th minute of play. Sztorm Keflavik FC's Steinn Bjarmason proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Sztorm Keflavik FC from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, FC Barcelona's Aríel Fjölmundsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Steinn Bjarmason. Steinn Bjarmason yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Sztorm Keflavik FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Kristvin Logason scored to the left of an out of position Steinn Bjarmason, making the score, 4-0. Kristvin Logason scored 5-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Steinn Bjarmason, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aríel Fjölmundsson took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Steinn Bjarmason. Steinn Bjarmason dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sírnir Bergþórsson got free with Steinn Bjarmason in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sztorm Keflavik FC's Steinn Bjarmason proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Sztorm Keflavik FC from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when Sztorm Keflavik FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hagbarður Hermansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Sztorm Keflavik FC defense, Sírnir Bergþórsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Steinn Bjarmason. The Sztorm Keflavik FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Steinn Bjarmason should have stopped the shot. After 58 played minutes FC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Aríel Fjölmundsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristvin Logason in the 60th minute of play forced Sztorm Keflavik FC's goalkeeper Steinn Bjarmason to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steinn Bjarmason didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kristvin Logason went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Tristan Davíðsson struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Steinn Bjarmason didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barcelona. In the 65th minute Sírnir Bergþórsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steinn Bjarmason saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Aríel Fjölmundsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Steinn Bjarmason. Sztorm Keflavik FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aríel Fjölmundsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. 73 minutes into the match, Sztorm Keflavik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sírnir Bergþórsson came free, but Steinn Bjarmason reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vignir Sveinsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loki Jónasson in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Hagbarður Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute Kristvin Logason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steinn Bjarmason saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Aríel Fjölmundsson notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of Sztorm Keflavik FC's Steinn Bjarmason. Steinn Bjarmason was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
