Spectators: 6808 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1808, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stevan Tabaković took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stevan Tabaković in the 7th minute of play forced Lapovo selo's goalkeeper Đorđe Jančić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lapovo selo's zone, Stevan Tabaković stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Đorđe Jančić came out of the goal and Stevan Tabaković tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiosav Zečević might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Đorđe Jančić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiosav Zečević ran back to his position shaking his head. Matija Lerinc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Đorđe Jančić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stevan Tabaković in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, one of Žitište:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Žitište. Simo Mihajlov went to the wrong direction when Boris Mekić was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lazar Cvetičanin in the 19th minute of play forced Žitište's goalkeeper Simo Mihajlov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Lapovo selo's Đorđe Jančić got control of the ball when Matija Lerinc tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lapovo selo's Stojko Koprivica got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Žitište's goal looked a bit too open when Obren Krsmanović came free, but Simo Mihajlov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Stojko Koprivica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lapovo selo's Stojko Koprivica in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Žitište's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stojko Koprivica to make the kick off. Matija Lerinc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Đorđe Jančić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matija Lerinc in the 70th minute of play. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Žitište! The goalkeeper, Simo Mihajlov, was totally fooled by Lapovo selo's Boris Mekić, who 73 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 77th minute Stojko Koprivica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simo Mihajlov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Simo Mihajlov throw himself and got hold of the ball when Stojko Koprivica in the 79thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a rather tough play, Lapovo selo's Vojko Božinović got a free kick in the 80th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Žitište's goalkeeper Simo Mihajlov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lazar Cvetičanin. Stojko Koprivica took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simo Mihajlov. Simo Mihajlov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Lapovo selo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lapovo selo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
