Šid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kragujevac FK the free kick. After 22 played minutes Šid got a freekick which was hit by Miroslav Malenović. In the 26th minute, Vukašin Savićević got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Kragujevac FK's Igor Alibabić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zdravko Nikolajević made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Zdravko Nikolajević made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Igor Alibabić sent off a good shot on target. Šid's Zdravko Nikolajević proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Šid from getting a goal against them. Dojčilo Vidosavljević dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 88 played minutes Šid got a freekick which was hit by Svetoje Batić. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Alibabić in the 89th minute of play forced Šid's goalkeeper Zdravko Nikolajević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kragujevac FK had played much better football throughout.
