Debrc's Jovan Majstorović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vuko Đurić in the 12th minute of play. Zvezdan Ivezic's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Živojin Puđa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Debrc booed when Zrenjanin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vuko Đurić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zvezdan Ivezic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Debrc getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Stanimir Naumović hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Debrc's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Miloslavljević came free, but Jovan Majstorović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Debrc's Stanimir Naumović got a free kick in the 35th minute. Jovan Majstorović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Miloslavljević, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Ivan Miloslavljević had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jovan Majstorović. Debrc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Miloslavljević was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some careless play in the Zrenjanin defense, Zvezdan Ivezic kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Živojin Puđa. The Zrenjanin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Živojin Puđa should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vuko Đurić was the one to do the kick off. Živojin Puđa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zvezdan Ivezic, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Zvezdan Ivezic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 62 minutes of play, Debrc's Zvezdan Ivezic made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Živojin Puđa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zvezdan Ivezic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Živojin Puđa having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Zvezdan Ivezic notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Zrenjanin's Živojin Puđa. Živojin Puđa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Zvezdan Ivezic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Ilija Komadina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Živojin Puđa. Zrenjanin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ilija Komadina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Zvezdan Ivezic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Debrc's supporters rose to their feet, but Zvezdan Ivezic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Živojin Puđa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zvezdan Ivezic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Živojin Puđa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Živojin Puđa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svetomir Čomić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Zrenjanin's goal looked a bit too open when Zvezdan Ivezic came free, but Živojin Puđa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zvezdan Ivezic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Debrc's Stanimir Naumović got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zrenjanin's Živojin Puđa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zvezdan Ivezic in the 93rd minute of play. Stanimir Naumović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Živojin Puđa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Jovan Majstorović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vuko Đurić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Debrc had played much better football throughout.
