Spectators: 6783 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 0) Opovo OFK's Hasan Duraković started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vuko Đurić in the 4th minute of play forced Opovo OFK's goalkeeper Teodor Stankov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Zrenjanin's Ivan Miloslavljević sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodor Stankov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Veljko Pintaric succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 12th playminute. Živojin Puđa made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Antonije Bošnjak sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Opovo OFK booed when Zrenjanin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dušan Kajević didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26thth minute of the game Vuko Đurić who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Opovo OFK's Teodor Stankov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Ivan Miloslavljević put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Teodor Stankov. Zrenjanin's Vuko Đurić got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Živojin Puđa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasan Duraković in the 56th minute of the match. Vuko Đurić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hasan Duraković in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Živojin Puđa saved Zrenjanin from getting behind. Vuko Đurić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Teodor Stankov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 minutes, Lazar Dedović mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Opovo OFK and the Zrenjanin players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Opovo OFK's Lazar Dedović got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Antonije Bošnjak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Opovo OFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zrenjanin the free kick. A collision led to Opovo OFK getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Antonije Bošnjak hit a great ball. Radonja Spalević charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radonja Spalević the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes Opovo OFK got a freekick which was hit by Radonja Spalević. Teodor Stankov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Miloslavljević went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Zrenjanin's Vuko Đurić slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teodor Stankov. That made the score 1-3 after 86 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice moves Mladen Baša could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Teodor Stankov however easily saved by the left post. Vuko Đurić kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Ivan Miloslavljević let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 96th minute shot 1-4 at rihgt post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Zrenjanin walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
