But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damir Đergović couldn't finish the play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stanko Papović to make the kick off. Rajko Čonić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stojko Čolanić's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 84 minutes into the game, Srbobran's Stanko Papović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Veljko Ostojić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Stojko Čolanić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Rajko Čonić made a huge save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
