Mane Mrčić started the match with the kick off. Anđelko Vukajlović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemanja Ognjanović having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Melentije Jovanović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Despotovo's Nemanja Ognjanović got control of the ball when Radosav Šaranović tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Despotovo's zone, Radosav Šaranović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemanja Ognjanović came out of the goal and Radosav Šaranović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vajska OFK's Vitomir Tasković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mane Mrčić in the 23rd minute of play. Anđelko Vukajlović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nemanja Ognjanović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anđelko Vukajlović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes of play, Despotovo's Mane Mrčić made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitomir Tasković was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Vajska OFK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Despotovo were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anđelko Vukajlović was the one to do the kick off. Anđelko Vukajlović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nemanja Ognjanović read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Jugoslav Trkulja was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Despotovo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vajska OFK the free kick. Nemanja Ognjanović didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Vajska OFK's Radosav Šaranović shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Vitomir Tasković made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Radoljub Stošić sent off a good shot on target. Nemanja Ognjanović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vajska OFK. In the 78th minute, Anđelko Vukajlović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nemanja Ognjanović was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radosav Šaranović in the 87th minute of play forced Despotovo's goalkeeper Nemanja Ognjanović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anđelko Vukajlović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Nemanja Ognjanović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
