Spectators: 6788 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sergej Makajev made the kick off which started today's match. Ðorđe Ašćerić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Desimir Korov having to make a save. Rade Vranić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radojica Dinčić in the 7th minute. Rade Vranić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radojica Dinčić in the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of Stari Slankamen booed when Sonta FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Negovan Perković didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Stari Slankamen's Ranko Drpljanin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ćirilo Kuvekalović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Rade Vranić made a huge save. Radojica Dinčić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stari Slankamen's Rade Vranić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Stari Slankamen from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute Sergej Makajev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desimir Korov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergej Makajev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radojica Dinčić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Rade Vranić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desimir Korov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ðorđe Ašćerić in the 36th minute of play. In the 41st minute Ðorđe Ašćerić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desimir Korov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Radojica Dinčić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ðorđe Ašćerić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Desimir Korov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Radojica Dinčić to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Sergej Makajev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sonta FK's Desimir Korov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ćirilo Kuvekalović's late challenge caught a Stari Slankamen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ćirilo Kuvekalović helped the player get up and apologised. After 57 played minutes Sonta FK got a freekick which was hit by Ćirilo Kuvekalović. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Radojica Dinčić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sonta FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Radojica Dinčić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rade Vranić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Slaviša Slović fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stari Slankamen's protests and gave Slaviša Slović a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, Stari Slankamen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slaviša Slović to maneuver through the defense. Rade Vranić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ćirilo Kuvekalović in the 67th minute of play. Sima Isaković kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ranko Drpljanin, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ćirilo Kuvekalović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rade Vranić having to interfere. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sonta FK's goalkeeper Desimir Korov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sonta FK's Ćirilo Kuvekalović got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ćirilo Kuvekalović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
