In the 8th play minute Desimir Koča came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Darko Ćosić. 1-0. Darko Ćosić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milanko Vranković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matija Zlatanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Zoran Jugović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milanko Vranković had several of the Grocka's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Darko Ćosić as he didn't even see the shot coming. 29 minutes into the match, Ruma's goal looked a bit too open when Bojan Obrenović came free, but Zoran Jugović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milanko Vranković received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Darko Ćosić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zoran Jugović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matija Zlatanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Bojan Obrenović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milanko Vranković was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Desimir Koča sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bojan Obrenović to strike the kick off in the second half. Bojan Obrenović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Zoran Jugović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milanko Vranković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darko Ćosić having to interfere. Jugoslav Jordanović kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. When Milanko Vranković came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Ruma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milanko Vranković couldn't finish the play. Darko Ćosić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desimir Koča in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milanko Vranković in the 71st minute of play forced Grocka's goalkeeper Darko Ćosić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matija Zlatanov struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Zoran Jugović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grocka. In the 75th minute, Matija Zlatanov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zoran Jugović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bojan Obrenović, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Matija Zlatanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Grocka booed when Ruma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radosav Cenić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grocka's Bojan Obrenović got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Desimir Koča received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Darko Ćosić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darko Ćosić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desimir Koča in the 87th minute of the match. The Ruma fans cheered their team off the field, for while Grocka had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
