When Jevrem Moravčić came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Pirot FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jevrem Moravčić couldn't finish the play. Medak II's Borisav Dobričić quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Đorđe Graovac, made in the 7th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joksim Đurašković during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute, Joksim Đurašković hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute Mladen Jerotić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radmilo Ljubanović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mladen Jerotić took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radmilo Ljubanović. Radmilo Ljubanović dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dragan Pešić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miloje Vojnović in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Vojimir Markićević ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radmilo Ljubanović was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Pirot FK's Radmilo Ljubanović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mladen Jerotić in the 36th minute of play. Miloje Vojnović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Dragan Pešić made a huge save. Vojimir Markićević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radmilo Ljubanović stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mladen Jerotić's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute Vojimir Markićević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radmilo Ljubanović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pirot FK's Radmilo Ljubanović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vojimir Markićević in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miloje Vojnović was the one to do the kick off. Medak II's Vojimir Markićević was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 52nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Pirot FK's Miloje Vojnović got a free kick in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ðuro Vasović got free with Radmilo Ljubanović in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th match minute, Pirot FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joksim Đurašković to maneuver through the defense. Medak II's Dragan Pešić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miloje Vojnović in the 68th minute of play. Filip Rakočević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragan Pešić having to interfere. A collision led to Medak II getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Vekoslav Radanović hit a great ball. Radmilo Ljubanović made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vojimir Markićević in the 76th minute. Pirot FK's Radmilo Ljubanović proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Pirot FK from getting a goal against them. Radmilo Ljubanović made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Nikola Koljenović sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vojimir Markićević in the 82nd minute of play forced Pirot FK's goalkeeper Radmilo Ljubanović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Medak II's Mladen Jerotić in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pirot FK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 87th minute Miloje Vojnović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragan Pešić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Ðuro Vasović managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medak II's supporters rose to their feet, but Ðuro Vasović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radmilo Ljubanović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 97th minute, Vojimir Markićević got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Medak II could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pirot FK throughout the match.
