Jevrem Moravčić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Jevrem Moravčić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Janko Đoković took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jevrem Moravčić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Pirot FK's Radmilo Ljubanović got control of the ball when Antonije Luković tried to sneak it across the goal line. Radmilo Ljubanović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonije Luković, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignjatije Kalać in the 26th minute of play forced Pirot FK's goalkeeper Radmilo Ljubanović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Smederevo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Momir Marković to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ignjatije Kalać to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes of play, Smederevo's Antonije Luković made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radmilo Ljubanović was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ignjatije Kalać had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ignjatije Kalać's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radmilo Ljubanović was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. The supporters of Smederevo booed when Pirot FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Velimir Baković didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Jevrem Moravčić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Radmilo Ljubanović didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonije Luković went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Smederevo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pirot FK for a fine match.
